GALA sponsored 2 exhibitions: "Identities", curated by artist and critic Jeanne Nugent, held at the Levy Gallery, Moore College of Art. The works of 5 artists were featured in this exhibit. The second show juried by gay artist Anthony P. Gorny , held at Zone One Gallery, included the work of 34 artists. Attendance for those shows exceeded 1,000 people.

GALA hosted exhibitions at Vox Populi
Gallery. The exhibits were curated by Dr. Judith Stein,
formerly of the Morris Gallery of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts
(PAFA ), and photographer David Lebe.

The High Wire Gallery and Nexus Gallery hosted
GALA’s annual exhibition, which was curated by Rochelle Toner, Dean of Tyler
School of Art.

The annual GALA exhibition was juried by PAFA
Professor of Sculpture Tony Visco. In addition , Drexel University invited
GALA to exhibit work on the Drexel University campus, as part of their community
outreach program .

GALA invited all alumni of previous shows
to an invitational exhibition at the High Wire Gallery. This show featured
the work of 25 artists.

GALA’s annual exhibitions have all been
held at the High Wire Gallery. The 1999 exhibition was dedicated to
the memory of Matthew Shepard.

GALA’s millennium exhibition, entitled
" 2000 Queers", was held at the High Wire Gallery in Old City Philadelphia.

The thirteenth GALA "The Next Generation" celebrated upcoming artists.
